PictureAwards.net, the Picture Editors’
Awards website, has undergone a major redesign which goes live on
the World Wide Web today, 30th September.
The result of consultation with
picture editors, photographers, and other picture professionals,
the site, which had more than a million visitors last year, has
evolved into a clearer, more user-friendly resource. No part of
the site is more than three keystrokes away from the homepage.
Users are also invited to register
their interest in the website’s next development phase, which
will provide up-to-date news and information, online forums, and
free gallery space for press photographers. CLICK!,
which is due for launch later this year, will have much of its content
provided by its users. CLICK! members
will also benefit from a fast-track entry process for the 2007 Awards.
Find
out more about this exciting development,
and also pre-register here.
We are constantly striving to improve
the Awards’ website. Please
let us know what you think about the new
site and how we can continue improving PictureAwards.net.
